A variety of funding opportunities are available for communities to host community development programs. This funding is available to connect with your neighbours and community, as well as other preventative programming in line with the goals of FCSS. Available grants include.
Spark Grant
Would you like to spark a connection with your neighbours and within your community? Funded by the Red Deer & District FCSS, the Spark Grant provides a matching grant to help you build relationships and get to know your neighbours. Applications must include 3 or more households interested in participating in the project, and applicants can apply for funding anytime. The City of Red Deer facilitates these applications on behalf of Red Deer & District FCSS. Find out more here.
REconnect Community Initiative Funding Grant
As part of the FCSS Red Deer & District's Emergent Funding Stream, the REconnect Community Initiative will support projects that reach out and build social connections between people, stronger, more resilient communities.
