Water Distribution (reporting issues)

The Town’s treated (potable) water is supplied by Mountain View Regional Water Services Commission to the Town’s reservoir. 

As required by legislation, Public Works department conducts daily tests on the water quality in the Town and in addition submits water samples for laboratory analysis in accordance with mandated schedules. 

The results of all the tests are submitted monthly to Alberta Environment.

Alberta Environment check the water quality results against approved water quality standards. 

In addition, Alberta Environment conducts random inspections of the Town’s reservoir and operating procedures to ensure compliance with Approval conditions.
