English settler, Thomas Crichley, built his large, red log home just off the shore of the Little Red Deer River.
Red Lodge became the name of his ranch.
On May 7, 1951, Red Lodge was established as a Provincial Park.
Red Lodge Provincial Park is located 15 km west of Bowden on Secondary Highway 587.
