The Bowden and District Cemetery is located just to the west of Town on highway 587.
Residents and guests from our community are encouraged to take time to visit the cemetery not only for remembering a loved one but also for passive activities like walking, nature observation and historical research.
The Bowden & District Cemetery Association oversees the management of the Cemetery. Meetings are held once a month every second Tuesday during the months of March through to October. These are public meetings which all residents are invited to attend.
If you would like to become a volunteer member of the Cemetery Association, please download the Volunteer Application Form (found within the online forms area of this website) and return the completed form to the Town Administration Office.
Cemetery Maintenance
The cemetery is maintained by the Town of Bowden Public Works department.
We ask that visitors please respect any notice or signposting regarding restrictions on vehicle access during times when abnormal snow or wet conditions exist.
